Cytech technical one covers the basic competencies in assuring cycles are prepared correctly for collection by customers and meet The Pedal Bicycle (Safety) Regulations 20

Course description
Cytech Technical One is the foundation of all the Cytech Technical courses and is intended to be the minimum standard to which all mechanics should work to.
Suitability
The course is aimed at people who are new to the cycle trade that need to achieve a basic level of expertise to allow them to work safely either in a workshop environment, on a retail shop floor or other customer service related role. You will learn to understand the importance of the legal aspects of working in a cycle shop (including Health & Safety), provide good customer service and workshop standards whilst safely and correctly setting up new bicycles in compliance with the latest recognised European and manufacturer standards.
Duration of the course
There are two parts to Cytech technical one, both need to be completed to receive the full technical one qualification.
Theory one can be completed as a distance learning course from the comfort of your own home. When you pass you receive a Cytech technical one theory certificate.
Technical one practical is a 2-day course that needs to be completed at one of our dedicated training centres. You will receive a Cytech technical one practical certificate on completion.
